Details about our physiotherapist

In this field, it is best to take a holistic approach and appreciate that there will be time when our bodies need to heel - with this in mind, we have teamed up with a great physiotherapist, who is reliable and really understands how to get people back on their feet quickly.  He has over nine years experience in the sports and health industry, studying human mechanics and working alongside top athletes.

William R Hunter BSc(hons) PHYSIOTHERAPY

I first became interested in physiotherapy after sustaining a knee injury whilst running. This was the first major injury that I had ever suffered, and it was fascinating to experience how skilled hands and the correct exercises helped me to regain optimal performance, especially in a sport that I loved. During the time I spent laid up with injury, I realised how critical movement is. It is how we express our body, our emotions, and our mind. This is what I love most about physiotherapy, working with people helping them to confidently achieve these goals.

After many years of study and clinical practice, I chose to specialise in sports injuries and musculoskeletal medicine due to my passion for human movement. On the other side of the coin is the population subjected to repetitive hours of stress of the same repetitive nature which tends to influence postural deviations and muscle imbalances. Until these dysfunctions have been addressed, the symptoms will continue. A full body postural assessment will identify any imbalances, and appropriate therapy is used to correct the alignment
